Gathering 4 partners from 4 countries, energy.eu develops a Horizon Europe call compatible project with the aim to enable the European energy paradigm shift, to empower the EU consumer to act as a prosumer and to tackle the challenges of energy poverty.
The main objective of energy.eu is to prepare a “main project” that links citizens, market, regulations and technologies, by the development and tailoring of social and flexibility tools, the co-design of governance and business models for energy communities presenting economic, social and environmental sustainability, and the facilitation of energy communities’ establishment within the current administrative frameworks and with recommendations for an evolution of regulation.
The objectives are divided into specific, measurable, and realistic objectives which target key challenges to the achievement of an energy market paradigm shift towards a more democratic governance in the scope of the EU Clean Energy Package and the interaction between the four pillars of this shift: citizens, markets, regulations and technologies.
