Co-financed under the National Technology Programme of Hungary, the project “Geothermal research-development for the sustainable abstraction of thermal water sources in the South-Great Region (TECH_08-A4/2-2008-0174) aimed at (1) the hydrodynamic and thermal convection simulation of Upper Pannonian reservoirs, (2) establishment of a technological know-how of injection of used thermal water into sandstone, and (3) development of an environmentally inert dephenolizing procedure. As the lead research partner in the 1.3 Million Euro project InnoGeo Ltd carried out the elaboration of a service licence package on injection to sandstone reservoirs and developed, published and disseminated the know-how to interested third parties.
